Also gave the car another wash once the tires were put on.

I’m in Michigan too, I think I’m going to wait a bit longer before I put mine on. Looks good though. It’s hard to tell with it being so warm recently.

That’s the tires I used on my Corvette for Moontreal’s winters... I had 1st gens ones and the SottoZero3 have come a LONG way from what I’ve been told. You won’t regret it.

On my E46 that is what exactly I did 2 years ago. I actually felt like TCS was hinderance in the snow. Also just go easy on the throttle and you will get more traction. With snow tires, I wouldnt worry as much.

I had my first Michigan winter just two years ago, but I had spent plenty of time hooning my FR-S at rallycross on snow tires.

Personally, I turn off TC every morning in the winter but I’ve got years of rallycross and stage rally experience. I’m comfortable beyond the limits of traction.
